Management Version 7.0 (or earlier) to P6 Optional Client R8.1: The summarizer for P6 Optional Client uses completely new database tables that are incompatible with the old (pre-P6 EPPM R8) database summary tables. If your site is migrating from P6 Project Management Version 7.0 (or earlier) to P6 Optional Client R8.1, then be aware of the following: Migrating to this new release causes all existing summary data to be deleted. So immediately after migrating to this new release, you must resummarize all your existing projects that were previously summarized. You resummarize these projects by choosing Tools, Summarize.
