The Global Retail Training (GRT) team in Asia is seeking an experienced Planning Project Manager to oversee the implementation and maintenance of Apple Retail employee training across greater China. This role will be responsible for creating and maintaining project timelines and scheduling resources for projects associated with our retail store-level employee training. The ideal candidate will embrace all opportunities to create innovative solutions and inspire others. This person will have proven success in corporate level project management and a proven record of driving key projects to successful outcomes. They must be able to work with complex, constantly changing scenarios and diverse groups of cross-functional partners. Key Qualifications
- 3+ years of project management preferred
- Experience planning, managing, delivering medium (6-8 months) to long term (8-12+ months) projects
- Proven ability to manage to deadlines
- Proficient at managing multiple efforts simultaneously in multiple countries
- Exceptional organizational and documentation skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience interacting with and influencing business partners at all levels
- Proficient in process mapping and workflow generation
- Exceptional time management skills and has great attention to detail
- Prior experience with Apple procedures and systems

Key Responsibilities Participate, coordinate, and monitor the development and testing of processes and systematic solutions that are required for the implementation of projects Organize, track, and maximize the workflow of each project.
Act as liaison between the GRT team and key partners to ensure project needs are adequately met in the time allotted Work independently and as part of a larger, cross-functional team Analyze and problem solve in a dynamic environment while managing ambiguity Create effective and clear project status communications Manage and escalate high priority issues to project team and/or stakeholders Manage, plan, and organize project activities within changing priorities Develop project plans/schedules while balancing business needs and expectations Manage project risk throughout the life of the project Prioritize and delegate key project tasks to team members Write or edit requirements documents for projects Produce and communicate project updates Schedule all projects and workload for the GRT team in Greater China Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent is preferred
